I and others in the rest part of the world are wishing Nigerian playwright and poet Professor Akinwande Oluwole "Wole" Babatunde Soyinka a happy birthday today (born 13 July 1934). He was awarded the 1986 Nobel Prize in Literature, the first African to be honored.
